Excerpts from Game Reports
(1)
Red-hot Brett Roneberg led Altoona's offense with two hits including his ninth home run.
The left-handed hitter has gone 24-for-51 (.471) with three home runs in his last 13 games.

(2) Brett Roneberg hit a solo shot and scored twice for the Curve, who are 1-5 in their last six games at Bowie.

(3) Each team tallied a run in the fifth to make it 3-1, the Curve run courtesy of a Brett Roneberg solo homer.

(4) Brett Roneberg got the Curve its first score of the night by hitting a homer to led off the fifth inning.
The scoring ended for Altoona
after Brett Roneberg came home on a fielding error.
Three players were left on base when the inning ended on a caught fly ball.

- RHP - runner at second base/two down - foul/foul/ball/called - strike out!!!
#04 - RHP - led off the innings - foul/ball/ball, followed by a base hit into centrefield - single - and the commentator said "Roneberg continues to get it done - leading off the ninth with a base hit with the Curve trailing by two runs!!!" - went to second base on an infield hit, and scored on an infield error by the Baysox shortstop

Following the game, Rob Egan (left) announced Brett as the
"Cracker Barrel Curve Player-of-the-Game"

He also said that
"Roney continues to rip the baseball,
and is now 24 hits from his last 51 at bats, an average of 0.471"

As we were listening Sharon said that as you were getting into the home run trot, you would be thinking - "Oh damn, I better look where it is going because Dad will be writing wanting to know which sign it went over!!!"

In the picture of the field I sent you, the outfield fences look high - very high!!!
Any ideas on the measurement???

OK, they both went over the the first sign to the right of the "Outback" sign,
and they both went over both fences!!
I have no idea on how high the fences are.
