Please Read These Notes

NOTE - the information on these eighty-one pages is as purchased from the Australian War Memorial and the National Archives
Some of the pages are big, with the largest being 1778 pixels wide ... however, most are 1100 to 1200 pixels in width
Make sure that your screen/monitor is set to its maximum size ... even so, you may still have to use both the "up-down" and "left-right" scroll bars to view the pages
This size has been used for clarity and to enable the pages and various notes to be read easily

NOTE - I am guessing that this folder did not contain every piece of paper or record of Dad's Military Service Pay Files ... there does appear to be a few sheets missing but it is probably all that was recovered after the War ended ... you can imagine there would have been thousands and thousands of boxes of these types of records

NOTE - the War Memorial and National Archives advised that when ordered, these copies are made from the front to the back of the Soldier's Folder ... I used the reverse order when uploading them here so the oldest pages are listed first

NOTE - remember, there were no computers during The War Years and it is interesting to see the number of stamps and signatures on these pages
All the checking and authorizations were done by hand with some of the cards and letters passing through numerous departments
Dozens of notations and corrections and they were all written with a pen and ink
And Dad was just one of many, many, many soldiers ... unbelievable !!
