From Lesley
- Sing-Song at 24 Railway Terrace Largs Bay
and this was taken during 1968 ... just before I went to the United Kingdom

From Erina - Deane Hutton has his back to the camera, Greg Roberts is bottom right and Roy McGorm behind him
Julie Duke is behind the divider in the purple top, and I think it's me next to her with beige top
Dianne Stephenson is in the green

From Sharon - Following some Services at Semaphore Baptist, we used to have after Church Sing-Songs
We would gather at someone's home and sing favourite hymns and songs and then have supper
They were always good fun
Here are eight or so names plus details on the photos spread around the room ... and the statue !!

From Erina - I wondered why it looked strange ... makes sense now ... 'Alice through the Looking Glass' !
Why were you hiding your face Sharon ?
I have no idea who #06 was ... not Peter Hills ?
Reminds me of 'The Prisoner' television series from the 60's ... 'who is number 2?'

From Sharon - Dunno why I was hiding my face
Maybe I was just propping the book up ... not like me to shy away from a camera !
Took me a while to work out what was wrong with the photo !
Although I still don't know about #06, I don't reckon it is Peter Hills

From Lesley - #03 is your Mother
and #06 could either be Alby Hall or Rob Weil though I don’t know why Rob would be there
And Fiona has Chloe, not me

From Sharon - I don't reckon #06 is Alby Hall and Rob Weil didn't go to church or any of those functions
Looks like I mucked up on Chloe !

From Denny - Hi Sharon ... I am fairly sure #06 is my Dad, Lew Stapledon

From Sharon - Thanks Denny, and I reckon you are right !

"A Mirror World"

'Something is not right about this photo'

This is what Sharon was thinking as she looked at this shot when working out the names and details
... and she finally realised what it was ... it is a "mirror" of how the room actually looked !!

As you know, with slides you can see both front and back
and it is very easy to reverse the photo and this is what may have happened here

So here is Sharon's version of how 24 Railway Terrace Largs Bay actually looked
