Plate Appearance #02

With runners at first and second
base, Brett was asked to lay
down a sacrifice bunt ... he did
this perfectly, moving the runners
across to second and third

and this was his first "SAB"
for the season

A note from Tanya

Correction on the "Bunt Video"
After the game Brett said that
he came up with that all by himself
and Barry said that there was no
way he would put a bunt a Brett !!

Plate Appearance #04

.

With Stingers trailing three runs
to four in the bottom of the
eighth innings, Brett smashed
the first pitch he saw to right-centrefield ... it was
off the fence, about 30cm from
the top !! ... he legged out a
triple and the next hitter,
Shane Stirling, hit deep to
the outfield allowing Brett to score
the tying run on a sacrifice fly

Keep an eye on the Heat outfielder
and you can see him jump in
an attempt to make the catch
against the fence

Plate Appearance #05

.

It's the bottom of the tenth
innings and the score is tied at
four runs all ... Brett lead off the
innings, and this time his hit was
again near the top of the fence in
centrefield for an easy stand up
double ... Shane also hit a
double into the gap, Brett read the
flight perfectly and came home
to score the WINNING RUN !!
