| Once I knew Fiona had started sewing, I knew in my mind she would try to have them done by the 11th May When they arrived I was very excited and couldn’t wait to open the parcel But wait !! !! "You can’t open it ... Andria has to open it ... if it wasn’t for her we wouldn’t have a parcel to open ... I think we should give it to Andria to open on Mothers Day at breakfast" I hate it when Geoff is right ... but he was It was perfect that we should make an occasion of opening such a Special Gift My emotions when Andria opened the parcel were many Complete and utter amazement at the contents Such joy at the beauty of them Terrible sadness at the reason for the gift Thrilled that Andria "who took the clothes, kept the clothes and gave them back to us" now had a very special keepsake that truly embodies her beautiful friend Such pride and love for my sister who made these exquisite items out of love for Tanya and me It was Mother's Day and the Anniversary of My Beautiful Daughter's death and I wanted her to be there with us Lots of laughter and tears as we recognised this and that, and that over there, and ooh remember this !! Truly priceless gifts for a Mother and friend ... we will treasure them always Thank you, Fiona ... much love |
