A few thoughts
from Tanya on Monday 26th February 2007
I am thinking of booking a hotel room in town for the Taipan's
Ball on 17th March
It is to save 'the dollars' on taxis
And to save waiting two hours for one
which is about how long it takes to get a cab in town at the moment!!
Plus I want to have a few drinks
It's not often that I do that - I usually drive my car every game
night
I want to lash out a bit!!
So Tanya booked
a room at The Pacific
International Hotel
Then, because in this life it is "not what you know"
but "who you know"
she got a few surprises!!
She was given #1 - an early check in time on Saturday
- which gives her more time to get 'dolled up' for the Ball #2 - a late check out time on Sunday
- so get can sleep in and get over the night before #3 - a room upgrade!!
