Flowers at the Original Site

Following a request from the Main Roads Department,
Tanya's Roadside Memorial was moved to the northern end of the bridge which has a more suitable area

A bike was also donated and attached to the guardrail......

The Cairns Airport Adventure Festival is being
held this weekend and the competitors in the
Ironman Race will be passing this spot tomorrow
so we decided to tidy it up and leave fresh flowers

Gerberas are one of Tanya's favourite Flowers

Whenever she was on the Tablelands, she stopped at one of the roadside stalls to buy a bunch to take home

We bought these silk flowers so she could always have some with her

Using Google, I was browsing the internet yesterday and found this photo which was taken on Friday 27th September 2013

Tanya is our daughter and we are devastated and hearbroken
This is a Terrific Shot and I would like to use it in her Memorial Albumn ... HERE and HERE

Of course I am happy for you to use that photo, especially if it manages to give you some degree of comfort
The full story for this photo is that on a Cycling Forum, a Bicycle Safety Advocate is endeavouring to list the locations of all Australian Ghost Bikes
When I spotted this on a recent ride, I grabbed the photo for the Forum
In fact I took three photos, and have placed the originals into my Google Drive that you can access using this LINK (included below)
From there you can download any of the images you want
