I wanted to CrossStich something for Brett ... something he would hopefully treasure and keep
It was hard to think what he would like

I wanted it to mean something to him ... A Special Memory
He is also a  guy who doesn’t like 'stuff' so it couldn’t be too big !!

My choice was made and I sent the photo I had chosen to a company in the United Kingdom
They converted the photo to a crossstitch pattern
It was all emailed to me ... the pattern and the colours required
Geoff printed everything out for me and I began

As can be seen ... it took over a year and I was at it fairly constantly
I loved stitching it too !!

We had it framed and when Brett came to breakfast one Saturday morning we made a bit of a big deal and gave it to him
I think he was truly very surprised !!
