The Gardenia has now been repotted ...

... and a closer look at the flower

September 2013 through to Tuesday 30th September 2014

During these twelve months the plant really struggled, and Sharon and I are not very good gardeners so we didn't know what to do
As can be seen below, the plant was left with just lots of woody stems and the occasional new leaf or two

Then it started to happen !! ... Flowers began to appear !! ... Look at them all !! ... Beautiful !!

Anne Henderson, the Manager of our Unit / Resort Complex offered to help us out
She pruned it back, gave it a dose of pellet fertiliser, and sprayed it for pests and diseases

Wait Now ... Just Time ... and hopefully we'll soon have a beautiful display for Tanya Mary !!

With the help of our neighbour, Barry, it was replanted into a larger pot and given a good dose of fertiliser

... so it was pruned right back ... "!! let's start again !!"

This gardenia continues to grow and look fantastic !!

It is still receiving a regular dose of Thrive Liquid Fertiliser

There are a number of buds over the plant and here is one of them
