Gardenia

"Forever More"

These two photos shows both the Gardenia and Bougainvillea which are side by side on the patio ...
 

 

 
... and here is the Gardenia
 
It continues to grow very well despite the "leaf spotting / yellowing"
that can be seen by looking at Saturday 3rd September and Friday 14th October 2016 on Page Two
 
And yes, the Beautiful Flowers are still appearing !!

Firstly, here is a look at all of "Tanya's Plants" on the back patio
 
 
 
As mentioned above, the Gardenia and Bougainvillea grow side by side
 
The Gardenia is a nice bush whereas the Bougainvillea is being "trained" to grow along the strings as can be seen in the photo
in the hope that the two plants together will form a Very Nice Colourful Screen ... here's hoping it works out !!

The Gardenia is flowering again ... dozens of buds all over the plant ... Beautiful !!
 
 
 
Saturday 2nd September 2017
 
Look at all the flowers now !! ... Fantastic !! ... they stay white for a day then begin to go yellow

Bougainvillea ... from The Hutton Family
Gardenia ... from The Staff at The North Cairns Post Office

** these two plants grow alongside each other and are updated here together **

This Bougainvillea last flowered during September 2017 ... and that is nine months ago !!
Since these shots were taken, the plant has hardly grown at all
In fact, all it has done over that time was to lose a lot of leaves and go very, very "woody" in the stems
Yep, it was decision time !! ... time for it to be Cut Back !!
The photos below tell the story of The Secateurs !!

This Gardenia has lots and lots of beautiful white flowers ... fantastic !!
But like the Bougainvillea, it has started going very "woody" and the flowering has almost stopped
The same decision was made ... Secateurs and a Cut Back

Now we wait and see what will happen with these Two Pots !!
